A few pics of another recently completed job. We installed the branded sheets onto a newly completed wooden frame. Because of the uneven site levels some our sheets were cut onsite to give a very uniform finish and appearance.
Another exciting project undertaken recently was the print and installation of an extremely large building banner covering two sides of the new Accenture building at 7 Hannover Quay. The results are dramatic.
Preparation is again the key to this successful installation. A full consultation took place with the relevant team members of the marketing and facilities department. Our team then completed a full site survey identifying the proposed anchor points. The points were then agreed with the facilities team for the building and the installation scheduled.
As we know in Ireland, the weather is unpredictable at best, but it (particularly wind) is a very significant variable in the installation procedure. When working with extremely large wraps/banners safety is paramount for our teams. The weather gods smiled and the installation was installed on the date agreed with our client. As you can see from the photos below the results were fantastic
A great project we worked on for our good friends in SuperValu Ashbourne. Our clients we're unhappy with the existing signage and facade that was seen from the main street in Ashbourne. They wanted a large and vibrant sign to replace the existing faded signage. After a few consultations and proofing our proposal was approved.
The key to delivering this type of sign is all in the preparation, as we were using pro-bond panels that had to be pre-cut, we wanted to make sure that the panels followed the exact line of the plinth and extended to the exact line of the reveal above, to give a perfect symmetry to the installation. This meant that all our measurements had to be exact to the millimeter !
You can see from the pictures below that the careful preparation paid dividend in the end and all the panels fit exactly. Another obstacle was the existing drainpipes which had moved and be cut around to give that perfect finish.
Our next job, brought us to even greater heights. Our brief from the Nursing Team in the Mater Hospital was to advertise new nursing job opportunities in the hospital. They expressed a preference for a high banner that was easily seen from Eccles Street.
The positioning of the banner was obvious if it was to be seen from Eccles St., we would installing eight stories high ! In this situation we need to use an air permeable banner made of PVC mesh. Once installed correctly it will still give excellent wind deflection.
We advised to use very large text and a strong relevant image. Our team created the design, photo-shopped the image on to our survey photos enabling our client to see their building banner in position. This helped considerably with the decision process.
Because of the height involved a specialist truck mounted hoist was brought in for the job.
Health and safety is a huge concern on any job but when we are dealing with heights and machinery it becomes one of our key priorities. Method, Safety Statements and Insurance were all verified before our banner installation began.
Everything went to plan without any hitches on the morning and our installation was delivered within project deadlines.

Another night time install by the team. This was an extremely time critical job as the retail concession was opening the following morning.
We printed our graphics on a good quality 100 micron 4 year vinyl two days before the install, allowing them to cure properly before applying our laminate. The laminate provides a solid protection for our digital prints.
As you can see from the photos below we had to install graphics on a column structure (completely wrapped) and a custom made retail display unit.
The main challenges of this installation were the time frame and the working height which were both overcome by the team and the branding was completed on schedule.
One of my favourite installations of the year so far –being a self-confessed Star Wars geek ! This was a large wall graphic we printed and installed for a new software company in Cork. The photos below don’t necessarily give any idea of scale but it was over 3 meters high and 9 meters long. It was a great image with superb quality and a pleasure to install.
